Cricket Season 2009

In spite of a second consecutive soggy summer 2008 saw a number of memorable performances, notably two 10 wicket hauls by Kamran Saleem (Halifax) & Graham Scarborough (Low Moor), a 71 ball century in the Parish Cup Final by Dan Crosland (Triangle), Matthew Britton (Greetland) joined the 1000 run club and Chris Greenwood (Sowerby) took 81 league wickets.
Wibsey Park Chapel join our league for the first time in 2009 bringing our compliment of clubs to 32 playing in a 3 division system.
We look forward to some exciting cricket, in an Ashes Test Series summer, and above all to some consistently good weather.
